How Will We Be Remembered?

How will our culture and civilization be remembered?  We have had the Classical Era, the Renaissance Era, The Age of Enlightenment and the Industrial Era.  When I meditated on this question I was disturbed by the option I came up with.  The description I came up with was The Age of Entitlement  I would prefer being described as the Dark Ages rather than this.  Will we be remembered as a culture that always wanted more?  We not only want more, it also needs to be faster; faster food, faster knowledge, and faster transportation.  We want more, faster, and easier; easier jobs, easier relationships, and easier lives.  The problem is not that we want these things.  The problem is we believe we deserve all of these and more. What do you think we will be remembered for?  What word would use to describe the era in which we live?
