Happy New Year

Thank you to all my readers in 2015.  Please continue to spread the word.

As I start off 2016 I want to challenge you with a question I have wrestled with the last 24 hours.  Why do we celebrate New Years?  Millions of dollars were spent last night as we said goodbye to 2015.  For many it is about the belief and hope that the next year will be better.  Some celebrate because they are hoping their failures and mistakes won't follow them into the next year.  Some are excited about new opportunities that will come in the upcoming year.

Along with the celebration, many of us will evaluate where we currently are.  Some will make resolutions.  Some, like me, wil set goals.  Others will focus in on one word for the year.  Whatever method of evaluating and planning you use, let me challenge you to do one thing this year.  Be intentional.  Don't wait until this time next year to evaluate.  Check your progress along the way.  Be intentional.  That way, when we bring in 2017, you won't be wondering where did the time go and what did I do with it.

Here is a link to a song that will be my anthem for this year.  http://youtu.be/0dw89u-4Qp8

Let's have a great 2016!
