Check Them Out

I have the privilege to go on a special hunting trip this weekend.  This will be my very first deer hunt. However, I will not be the one with the gun.   I will be taking pictures and video while other people hunt.  This is a SYC hunt.  "SYC of Colorado, Inc. Is a non-profit faith based ministry for physically challenged youth. SYC is designed to teach youth with special challenges how to participate in and enjoy hunting by providing training and outdoor experiences, including turkey and elk hunts, for the youth and their families."  These hunting trips cost about $700 per hunter.  SYC does not charge the families anything.  They rely on their two fundraisers each year and donations that come in.  I appreciate every single one of you that reads my blog.  I have a post coming out soon about sitting around a fire with Jesus on the other side of eternity.  In the meantime, head over to SYC and check out what is happening.  I have no way of tracking this, but I believe that, together, we can sponsor at least one hunter.  If you want to get involved in helping a youth with special challenges click to Donate through PayPal.
