When was the last time you saw a plunger in an outhouse?
People ask me where do I come with ideas to write about. Life in my brain can be an adventure. Material comes to me at the weirdest times.
Tonight it comes while plunging the toilet. I have a toilet that keeps giving me issues. As I was plunging it the thought occurred to me that if this was an outhouse I would not be doing this. No one has ever plunged an outhouse. There are a lot of disadvantages to an outhouse, but clogging is not one of them. The reverse is true as well. I am plunging a toilet and I am thankful that I have a toilet to plunge, and I don't have to use an outhouse.
You can call it "seeing things through rose colored glasses" or "finding the silver lining". You can say it is "Pollyanna." I call it living in God's will. 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 says "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
What clogged toilet like circumstances do you need to give thanks in?
